Vision for Chaplaincy
The Branches Chaplaincy Program exists to bring the presence, encouragement, and truth of God into everyday places within our communities.
Our vision is to raise up men and women who are willing to serve others through prayer, compassion, and spiritual support. Chaplains act as a bridge between faith and community, meeting people where they are and pointing them toward hope in Christ.
Through this program, Branches seeks to establish chaplains in different sectors of the community so that the love of God can reach people in moments when they need it most.
How We Do It
Branches equips and supports chaplains who are called to serve their communities through faith and relationship.
Chaplains may serve in a variety of settings including:
- Community events
- Sporting events
- Schools and youth activities
- Local outreach opportunities
- Prayer support for individuals and families
- Ministry events and conferences
Chaplains work as representatives of the Branches mission by offering encouragement, prayer, and spiritual guidance to those they encounter.
What Our Chaplains Do
Branches chaplains are called to be a consistent presence of faith and encouragement in the community.
Their role may include:
- Praying with individuals and families
- Offering spiritual encouragement and guidance
- Supporting community events with prayer
- Building relationships within local communities
- Helping connect people with faith-based resources
- Serving alongside other outreach efforts within Branches
Chaplains are not expected to have all the answers. Their role is simply to be present, listen, and share the hope found in Christ.
